Sectioning hair perming make the rest of the process easier and faster. After shampooing and towel drying the client’s hair, comb the hair to remove knots or tangles. Make sure you have all the crimp tool useful.
There are three distinct patterns of sectioning.
One. Part Six
2. Brick
3. Directional
Part six
Six Patterns Sectioning divides the head into six sections Divide the hair into two sections, the front (4,6,5) and rear (3,1,2). Divide the front just above the center of the eyebrows, to give the middle (6) and two sides (4 and 5).
The middle section (6) there should be no wider than the clamp. Now divide the back of the same, to give the middle (1) and two sides (3 and 2).
Winding Brick
Brick is when curling perm winding positioned in a brick pattern. This winding technique to prevent gaps in the hair, so you will not have partings. Brick winding is ideal for fine hair short and had to start at the front of the head.
Directional
Directional winding is when the hair rolled up in a certain direction. This will help create a flow in the direction the client wants. It is suitable for clients who want separation.
Winding Techniques
After placing the hair into the required sectioning the hair you will need to wind.
• Hair must be kept moist.
• Take a small sub-section of the hair, the smaller the length and thickness of a clamp.
• The width of the width should be in the brace.
• Comb hair up, this will cause a root lift.
• Hold the hair evenly and tightly.
• The clamp should be at a 90 degree angle from the shape of the head.
• Put the paper ends on the ends of hair; if you do not end up at the end will look curly perm.
• Paper end help make the process easy winding.
• Wind the hair slowly, keeping a tight hair evenly.
• Free hair ends round clamp with tail comb. If the tip does not go below the clamp. Hair can be “hooked fish” and curly.
• Keep the clamp level.
• The clamp should be at the center of the sub-sections.
• Secure the clamp by tightening the rubber bonding or clip.
• The clip should sit at the base and does not preclude future positioning clamp.
• There should be no gap between the curler.
• If using a rubber band, carefully placed it into the root area, as this can cause the rubber marks on the hair.
